Anjouan

An Anjouan license is a permit to conduct an online gambling business (casino, betting, poker, lotteries, etc.), issued on the island of Anjouan (Comoros, Africa).

It attracts operators because:

 - it is relatively cheap compared to Malta or the UK;

 - it is quickly issued (usually 1-2 months);

 - one license covers many types of gambling;

 - low or almost non-existent taxes for international companies.

But there are also disadvantages:

 - not all countries recognize it, so in many markets with strict regulation (EU, USA, UK) it does not work;

 - the reputation is weaker than that of top-level licenses (Malta, UKGC, Gibraltar);

 - there may be risks to legal status - some experts consider it a "gray" or even dubious license.

Therefore, the Anjouan license is suitable mainly for startups or small operators who want to enter the market quickly and do not plan to operate in countries with strict regulations.
